lol i agree.... it needed to pass to avoid long-term ramifications.... (montana aside, but loving it lol)

it wasent just for house loans gone bad. its also to bail out big corporation who over spended

Majority was house mortgages. The rest is credit.
Freddie Mac & Fannie Mae was the largest one that had to be taken over. AIG too.

the 700 billion bail out is not intended to help people like us, in the middle class.
its created to help wall street and bail out the same people who started this crisis/
its kind of like rewarding them for messing up america.
capitalism is in essence nothing more than corporate greed not free enterprise
