I'm running windows XP and zone alarm is really pissing me off.
I'm going to uninstall it and install another firewall.
What firewall would you recommend?

Norton 360 is good. It's easy to control, you can switch it off and on when ever you need to.

McAfee Security Suite 2008 comes with around 10 different applications that help protect your computer. McAfee Firewall Plus 2008 is a great firewall that blocks absolutely everything. When a program wants to access the interent, it will ask you for permission. You can allow it this time, block it forever, or allow it forever. McAfee Security Suite 2008 also comes with many file and network management tools such as cleanup and network traffic monitor.

akarmenia Mcafee is a joke.
It bogs down your system too much.
Doesn't matter if you have a brand new machine with the amount of crap it installs
(which you don't even need half of) it slows down your pc a lot.
Norton was also known to cause major system slowdowns but they have
greatly improved the program code in their latest version.

SP2 already come equipped with a firewall, and SP3 just came out so i'm guessing the firewall and whatever is on it is a lot better.

Windows installed firewall is a joke.
All security professionals(l33t haxors) know this.
