Every operating system has good sides and bad sides. Ubuntu has more functionality, XP has more software, Leopard is easy to use. XP is crash-prone. It's hard to install third party software on Ubuntu. Leopard doesn't support all software and games that run on windows. Ubuntu has the best desktop environment and it's free. All operating systems have problems, but none comes with more applications and ease of use than Ubuntu and Leopard. XP and Vista aren't exactly good to use. How many times has XP crashed? How many drivers has Vista not recognised? Ubuntu has always found my drivers - even the live cd. It also has the best installer. It doesn't use the smallest resolution by default like xp. In the future more applications will be available on all three operating systems, so the only reason to keep Windows would be to see how fast you can crash it or get a virus. I've installed all three opperating systems on the same computer, and Ubuntu is the best. However, it is handy to have XP running in a Virtual Machine for those applications that aren't supported yet.
