Can someone fill me in on what's going on with China? I've been hearing that the prices of rice and other foods are going to be doubling soon. Anyone know what's up?

I am not in the loop of world economics but it seems that in the last handful of years, greed has been unleashed with no remorse. It seems any and all speculators and global businesses are in a free for all. Profiteering on ALL commodities they can get away with.

Oh sure, droughts and strife and blah blah is the reason prices are so high. Puhleeze, the world has had droughts, pestilence & strife for ages w/o the blatant gouging evident today.

Price Gouging....I don't think it could be any more obvious than it already has become. YET, no one is doing anything about it.

Are you (not you, v8 ) fukin telling me that out of all these analysts, economists, surveyors, researchers, etc., no one can pin-point where all this madness grew from?!

I'm just a concerned consumer...and I'm fed up with the bullshit.

What's next?...I know...

Now, they've decided to make everyone upgrade to digital programming. What's their excuse this time?...Apparently, they're saying that digital programming consumes less energy than analog. FACK THAT!!!

Heh, oh and they can fit more "programming" in the same bandwidth or something. How revealing and obfuscated that statement is.

The populations are powerless and sedated with trivial programming & pursuits. Oh well, let me download some wallpapers for my phone . . . *gasp* See what I mean?!

Where's our good friend "MindTrap?" I'm sure he can cook up a good "analysis" about what's going on with the economy.

And yes, Doc. We're phucked!

YAHHHHH TRICK YAHHHHH!!!....wait a minute...*gulps*...that's not a good thing.
