I put my laptop on charge all night but it didn't charge at all. It turns off when I unplug the charger. Can anyone tell me why this is happening?

battery is messed up. my laptop is like that too. gotta buy a new battery. if you leave your lappy on charge all the time the battery gets screwed up. me nd you found that out the hard way. =(
