I am a soldier in the army of God
I am a soldier in the Army of God,
It is Him who looks deep in my eyes with love.
I fight as a soldier; I fight and never give up,
For he stands right beside me, incase I fall to stand me up.
I look up to him, yet I can’t see him,
I battle and battle for him, to show that I can win.
I will not give up, nor walk away,
He is in my Heart, and I feel it every time I pray.
I cannot have my feelings hurt bad enough to turn me around.
I cannot be discouraged enough to turn me aside.
I cannot lose enough to cause me to quit!
For He again stands beside me if I need a lift.
He is our God, Almighty, the Savior of our souls,
He watches upon us and protects us with groups of lion roars.
We need Him, we want him, we desire the good,
His Glory is in our hearts, and that I understood.
I love him, thus, I will fight for Him till death,
I will be tolerant, and faithful till the end.
No one will be capable of shifting my thoughts,
I feel Superior, as God daily erases my scars.
I am a soldier, a soldier that will not stop fighting,
If the day comes for me to go, with a smile I will start my new writing.
I will rise up in heaven, held by an archangel,
Stand before God, and be judged if my place is in hell or as another Angel.
