Chasing Nightmare
Frustrating Days Have Come Upon My Soul,
Thinking and Remembering What Past I Had Before.
It draws my eyes to open and see,
See how I have struggled to find that perfect key.
Today seems to be those gloomy past days,
But I try to escape them with a fast pace.
It hits me, shattering my brain,
It’s a feeling of a knife drilling through my chest pain.
I’m stuck in this little dark box in my head,
It’s a maze I’ve been trying to solve for days.
Clueless, yet I walk and walk,
Searching for a way out, but all doors are closed and blocked.
Some days are graceful and some are horrifying,
Still looking and hoping to see if I’ll be glorifying.
It’s like a nightmare that travels me far,
Never bringing me back to find my shining star.
It’s an unwritten story far beyond my thoughts,
Trying to write all together, all at once.
It’s a story I want to get rid of
But I feel it’s stuck in my soul,
I feel like half of my life and happiness it has stole!
I wont stop fighting, fighting for my smile.
Even thought I feel towards life, I’m hostile.
I will look back and learn from my past life,
As tomorrow comes quick, hoping to see my God’s given wife!
