Well the Evo would be the obvious choice but If I were you, I would def def def try to find a 98 TT Supra..........ohhhhh that car blows my mind. I mean if your talkin turbo and upgradable?? I would take that car over anything else out there. It also depends on your budget of course, but thats my opinion.

bro forget STI there really crap and if your really get down to the specs and u know what u want u really have no room to play with the car and modify it that much.....but with an evo it has the biggest stock production turbo and you can literally do anything u want to that car cause my homeboy has an evo 9 mr and his pushing about 460hp on that....my advice would be an evo

Why would you twin turbo a e36. Theres no point, you gonna dyno less then a single build 9 times out of 10. Dont think anyone makes a turbo kit (I think AA used to) for the e36 so its gonna cost you for all custom work + pulling the engine. You could supercharge it but then you gotta at least do AA stage 2 with 420hp. Cost you about 8k+ labor for just 420hp. I suggest a E55. Wont be easy to find for 25k but you can if you look good enough. Supercharged 5.4l ~420wheel hp. Has lots of upgrading potential for not so much. Eurocharged has a stage 3 package (pulley, headers, TB, cooling, tune) for 5k. That'll add ~140 wheel hp.

how about instead of turbo you change the internals? maybe you'll get more "real" power for a cheaper price and you won't overload the engine.
