Hello everyone, my name is Sevada. I live in the Netherlands and I am a 3rd year (junior) student of International Business and Management Studies at the Zuyd University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands.
As the subject line already suggests, I am looking for internship. My interest lies in the field of marketing and management (business or office jobs.)
It must be a legitimate company which is not involved in any illegal activities of any kind (obviously) and it must be located in or close to Los Angeles (Glendale, Burbank, Van Nuys etc.) I don't have any preferences for the nationality of the employees or owners.
The duration of the internship must be 5-6 months, starting in January or February.
College credit is a requirement; paid internship on the other hand is not a requirement but some compensation would be appreciated.
These are pretty much all the requirements/preferences.
What I am actually asking is whether you guys can help me in finding an internship. You guys might know some websites such as craigslist.com or monster.com; know some companies in need of business interns; have some connections with business people; be a employer yourself who is interested in hiring an intern; or be able to provide general information.
Any help of any kind would be very much appreciated but please bear in mind that I am taking this very serious and I expect you to do the same.

EDIT: some of you might question my method of finding a job but I'd like to mentioned that I am doing everything in my power to find a job myself by applying for jobs and using my own connections and sources (such as friends and family) to find a job in that area. Using armenianplanet.com is just another way of getting my "request" to a bigger public.

its called craigs list and/or having your resume in your hand and going door to door
the people in here are all 14-25-ish... mainly students themselves
if you want something DONE, do it your self

Well that's kind of hard since I am not in the US so I thought I could ask the Armenian community for help but it seems I was wrong.

LMAO oh man sorry about that ... everyone here in teh US is always thinking about their own bills and problems especially now ...
If your looking into internships the internet is your best choice especially if you are abroad ... it maybe difficult to get an internship now because the unemployement rate is very high especially in california, ...
make and post a resume on www.monster.com and fill it out as best as you can maybe someone will contact you. You can also write a cover letter, and a resume to any special schools in the areas that perhaps they may want international interns or exchange students or something ... start with schools like www.csun.edu or search for other california state schools...
Its a big step but you have to fight to get it ... best of luck
