| I'm a 21 year old femle. I used to be very active in my teen years. I danced 3 times a week and swam almost everyday. I was in really good shape. Around 18 (after high school)I stoped working out and of course I started to put on weight. I went from 120 to 147. I lost most of the weight (I'm 130 now) however, my arms are still fat. I'm very insecure about it. I dont like to dress up. I can't remember the last time i wore a spaghetti top. I;ve tried everythingggggg from swimming again, push ups. lifting weights. Anything you say, I've done.I just dont see any results what so ever. I spoke to a personal trainer about it and he told me there is nothing i can do. Its just the way my arms are. So i was thinking of getting lipo. Is there anyone who has the same problem? Can you recommend me to any good surgeouns in LA? thanks. |

| Your personal trainer should get his credentials checked. If your arms are the only part of your body with which youre having problems losing weight, then you shouldnt get lypo. its not worth it. With the right diet, I repeat, the RIGHT diet and determination you can save yourself thousands of dollars and the pain of going through a surgical procedure. |

First off, if your trying to lose weight on your arms then eating and drinking protein rich products is not the solution.
If you keep your daily calorie intake at 3000 or below, and stay away from bread, then regardless of what you eat it will guarantee you to lose weight. Unless, of course, if you have a thyroid condition, your thyroid is located around your neck area, then you will have difficulty of losing any weight at all. Judging by your previous post that you have lost several pounds and still cannot lose the excess fat on your arms I highly doubt your problem to be of a thyroid condition.
You should stick to a diet and work out daily on your arms, use 10lb dumbells. Or, when youre running make sure to extend your elbows backwards until your wrist reaches your waist, and then bring it back forward until your elbows reach your waist. Keep this up for 30 minutes a day and youll be fit in no time. |

| light weight (10 pounds and under) exercises with dumbells to get toned up, no need to go to the gym for that. |

first off, 140 is not fat
and neither is 130
instead of lypo, eat healthy & work out. |

I'm sure you can tone your arms if you work hard. You have to give it some time. It does not happen overnight. You should give yourself three months and be very consistent. Eat right and lift weights.
But is it really thattt bad?? You are too young for lipo in my opinion. But you should do what makes you happy. |

| No,,, not weights. No you need resistence to break the muscle fibers in a more precise way. cables or resistence bands. And like the folks said over and over,,,a good diet. |
