I've been with my bf for about a year and a half. we're both armenian and this is my first serious relationship. we're both in college (not the same school) and recently about two months ago my boyfriend moved out of his parents house and into an apartment with two of his friends. well my only problem is that now we're hanging out at his apartment so i guess we kind of have privacy that we didn't have before and recently my boyfriends been wanting to go further then we've gone together and in my case at all ( and i guess maybe even sex? i dunno..). i know he has done everything...
i had a talk with him and it just kind of ended up with agreeing that we've been together for a good amount of time and we both like each other so it shouldn't be a problem. even after that i just kept thinking about it. two of my girlfriends suggested just going with the flow and basically doing everything because we have it good. but one of my other friends keeps telling me i'd be making a BIG mistake and that if he ends up dumping me i'll be a slu*, i wouldn't ever get another bf, everyone will know, etc.
i feel safe with him, i know i can't ignore this forever. i don't know what to do. so i was wondering if there are any girls and guys that have any advice on what i should do? maybe had a similiar problem?

| listen sweetheart, if you don't want to have sex until marriage and the guy doesn't respect that, then he doesn't respect you. Your boyfriend should understand that you have concerns about this and he should back off rather than push and persuade you into doing it just so he can get into your pants. If you guys end up breaking up, that's going to be pretty bad for you because unfortunately, people will know about it one way or another and your reputation will be destroyed. I've seen lots of my friends brag about how they took their gf's virginity away and it's repulsive. Not only are you demoralizing your body, but sex before marriage is a sin, and you end up breaking God's heart. No guy should pressure you into doing something that you have second thoughts about. Who knows, you might marry this guy someday, but in the world we live in today, unfortunately that seems unlikely. Anyway, I hope you do the right thing and remember God loves you unconditionally and wants you to talk to him also.

| If he waited this long, why can't he wait a couple more years until you two are married. I would say don't do it!!! Stay virgin until your married.

Thanks everybody for answering but i just wanted to say that i don't think we'll even think about marriage anything soon. I'm 21 and his 22 and i still feel like it'd be a lil too early? and i don't feel uncomfortable with him, i was more confused on what i should do. i mean i know and understadn we might not be together forever.
so basically its agreed sex should be saved but everything else is okay to go on with?

Did you learn a life lesson the hard way just recently?
Your tone has changed from blissfully poetic to stark cynicism almost overnight.
Been there. What you make of these experiences is very important. Don't let it consume you in bitterness. Instead may I suggest you use it to increase your skills at reading people better.
