Hello All,

It is my first time going to Armenia and I wanted to know if there is anything I should know before going. Like any places to visit. I am from LA (born n raised) and I have never been out there. I will be staying at a relatives house. Let me know if you guys have any tips.

Thanks,
BIG H

Armenia now is not the best place to visit, believe me. You shall only waste your time at least. Armen

Me and my cuz have officially started to save up for week's stay at Amsterdam...Cant wait.

I should visit Armenia one day, If it wasnt for the constant feeling of being in Armenia while living in Glendale I probably would go to Armenia first.

How ironic. The people in Armenia want to be all Americanized. Just look at the way they live.

Thanks, so far you gave the most detail. Also, thanks to the previous poster about the baggy clothes. Anyone know why no baggy clothes or "American things"?

No baggy clothes because you will look foolish but besides that people look at you funny and don't treat you the same, just like in the US. Dress like a human being with regular clothes bro and youll be fine.

Your going to love it, its alot of fun. There are alot of international clubs and being that your going in the summer there are alot of US/Canadian Armenians there and chances are youll run into them at these clubs. Most things you buy (ice cream, fruit) are by the gram and portion which can get confusing. 150grams of icecream is good Very Happy

Dont drink the water if you have a weak stomach, and same for the watermelon. Test it out before you eat it. Wake up in the morning and walk to the local market and buy breakfast- bread, ham, juice, herbs- it will only cost you $3-5 bucks and will leave a lasting memory. Its the little things that your going to miss the most. Best of luck!
