^ Nah it's actually pretty true. Maybe not 3,000 per person... but we're talking 100s in a single day.
Every person that goes out, or watches tv, or uses the net sees that many. And I'm sure every damn person in here is one of them.
We discussed this a lot in my Socio class, Psych class, and I personally have read up on this as well.

Well she did say tv commercials. Every hour, a high profile TV station shows about 15 minutes worth of commercials. However not everyone sits through them all, so the argument is mute, unless you're at home 24/7 and never leave....oh never mind that's the majority of Americans

Well I'm talking just living an average "American" life. Going to work, coming home, watching TV, using the computer, listening to music etc. etc.
They all have some elements of advertising in them. It's crazy... but luckily our brains are specialized in filtering most of them out. I wish I could remember exactly what part though lol...
