I saw this last friday with some friends not knowing what it was, and I'd have to say it was very interesting. the plot was busy and multifacated, difficult for me to describe something having to do with spanish legend and the civil war of spain. the film itself is in spanish but there are subtitles in english. some parts of it were scary and even gory but the special effects were kickass. trailor is on the site http://www.panslabyrinth.com/ personally I liked it, the suspence sequences were amazing

I'm not a goth, I'm just very different opinionated, but that is beside the point. I thought it was really well made and the Camera work and special effects were ecceptionally good as well as the acting, it did have alot of dark moments but it showed alot of beauty as well, and it's foreign so those spanish people like to make their films full of metaphors

that was taken about 2 years ago, and as far as a razor in the bathroom I have no idea what you are talking about

| wow loved the movie. It was like a messed up fairy tale. It was sad, dramatic, scary, and just amazing. One of the best movies i have seen this past year. I loved how it didn't have the Hollywood ending. Brilliant!

The movie was cool. It was fun to listen to Castilian being spoken euro-style and not how mexos speak it.
Anyway, one thing that I can't decide; did she really go back to her underworld kingdon when she died, or was it simple a near death experience as her life seeped away?
I'd like to think she went back but probably not.

| possibly the greatest movie i have seen! There is so much to it when you think about it! I love deep movies and Guillermo Del Torro is an amazing director!
