I would get rid of the windows

Don't waste your time on Longhorn, or whatever MS decides to call their long overdue, already outdated OS....instead get a Mac and stop dealing with a million bugs, installation problems, and whatever awaits you in the new windows OS !

Last rumor I heard, they are going to charge you a hefty amoutn of money for different versions of their new OS...a complete rip off !

mac just has no viruses because no one buys them so no one bothers to make viruses for them. windows owns the computer market and people are jelouse that windows is doing so good so they make viruses and poke holes to make it go down. and some people fall for the tricks and start liking mac. for me. i go with linux. ubuntu or debian. xp isnt too bad either. i usually run on xp if i want gaming and fun. linux if i want security

Macs are much better than any Windows based computers. OSX Leopard owns Vista from top to bottom.....and this is coming from a guy who's been using Windows for more than 9 years now. I switched.

Windows has more users because Gates knows how to sell it to the mass market....but Windows is a shitty operating system and has been ever since it got started from DOS.

mac is good for having nice graphics and absolutely no viruses.

mac sucks for everything else. when map came out and still today it was worried about how the computer looks. not how well it preforms. windows is for people who want to actually do more on their computer then just come talk shit on here, check their myspace, and put songs on their ipod like those ignorant whiteboys who have those earbuds on 24/7 and have absolutely no social life. that is all mac is good for. you cant even find a mac version of the game "Rune 1.00" or "Rune Halls of Valhalla."
there is no entertainment as in game and shit on mac. that is the reason no one gets mac. not because gates knows how to manipulate people. there is nothing on mac that there isnt a windows version of even if the windows one is an open source one thats made by a third party. also people got tired of mac in the past because mac always found better software but they put it on old hardware. then people had to waste a shit load of money on buying new hardware to fit the software.

example:

when mac said they had written an os with clockspeed of 100mhz a long time ago.

users buy it and start using it. it ends up being even slower than the old ones.

why?

the hardware has to be updated. the users had to buy new hardware to be able to use the increased performance of the new os they had made. my teacher was an example of this.

mac gets its os technology ahead of its hardware technology. that is why they are never selling as much as windows because the user has to buy a shit load of stuff.

windows does not get ahead of its hardware. that is why they never make the time they need to give it out by. if they do what mac does then they will lose their users so they postpone their software so as not to get in front of hardware technology.

Mac is great for the entertainment business. Edit movies, videos, music production and a bunch of other sh*t. Other that, it's pretty boring using mac.

I think Macs have a whole other set of problems.
I'm a Linux user as well as Windows and I can says that Linux is no better than Windows. It's just a whole other set of problems.

My friend bought a Mac because he does photo editing. He bought it because it would download images from his Compactflash faster. Weird reason to buy a Mac if you ask me.

I used to be a windows user then switched to mac a few years back. I used to HATE mac but I have to say that the new system (Leopard) has really brought up macs reputation. So far, whoever I've recommended a Mac to says they will never go back to a PC...from computer geniuses to basically computer illiterate people. The thing I like the most about the new Mac is the fact that you can run Windows as well as Leopard, so you can get the best of both worlds and on a very sleek and nice machine. I have the Macbook Pro and it's AWSOME, no problems, no issues, I love it. Mac's hardware has advanced highly as well as its look. I think both PC and MAC is great depending on who needs what, but people should start thinking twice when debating about this and spend a few days running a Mac...its great. :)
