What's the cheapest way to go to NY? I plan go to NYC during the new years to see the ball drop and obviously get my groove on during that time. Maybe for a week.

JetBlue and you must book your tickets in advance especially for New Years. Also, rooms are going to cost you and arm and a leg if your staying anywhere withing a 10 mile radius of downtown. Your looking at minimmum 400 to 700 dollars a night within the city, and between 250 to 450 if you stay by the Airport (JFK) or the outskirts. Plane tickets range from 180 round trip to 350 depends on when you book, Ive never flown out of, or into NY during New Years so I'm not sure. If youre traveling to NY always book in advance and make sure you dont end up in a shitty area, muggings are a norm in NYC, and they know tourists when they see them. Let me know which area your going to and Ill tell you if I'm familiar with it or not.

$700/night is insane, almost the price of a high end Wynn suite in Vegas. Obviously I don't want to stay in a Motel 6 but I guess I'll do some research.
