Pau Gasol had to stop running on a treadmill Saturday because he felt pain in his strained left hamstring, the Lakers forward-center said Sunday.
“There was soreness after a while,” he said. “It was the first day that I tried the treadmill. We stopped because of the soreness. Today we’re going to try it again and see how it goes.”
-----------------------
Unbeknownst to the public, Artest is currently playing with plantar fasciitis in his right foot, the same foot on which he suffered a bad ankle sprain last season with Houston. He also has a sore left foot from being stepped on recently. He’s basically out there with no base, which makes it pretty hard to be athletic.

Lakers are dealing with some health issues this year.
If it continues, we may not be able to push our way to the finals.
In other news, Cleveland is healthy as ever and looking to secure the best record in the league.
They just beat the Portland Trailblazers last night.

We're not even half way through the season, yet. Our injuries ain't that serious. Pau and Luke are set to be back soon. If our bench plays well, we'll make it. All you gotta do is slow down LeBron to beat the Cavs. Easier said than done, but it's been done before, it can be done again.

Lakers pull it off with no Gasol and a half Kobe Bryant. Odom, Artest, Bynum, Farmar beasted.
Anyone catch Odom's interview? He was all lookin' around and stuttering and giving horrible answers. lmao He's so off. Must be all that weed and candy.

Lamar always does that in interviews. (watch, in his future interviews how he does)
He never looks at the person interviewing him.
IMO, that shit is kind of rude and tacky.

I dont think he does it on purpose, it seems like he gets nervous on tv or something. But he usually says thanks at the end of the interview so i dont think he is trying to be rude. LO is a cool guy and a locker room favorite.

I actually know the guy and he is not really like that in person, thats why im guessing he just gets nervous on tv.

So guys, how do you feel about Kobe possibly ruining your repeat chances by playing through these injuries? It'd be hilarious if Garnett comes back 100% and Kobe ends up paying for this come playoff time. Personally, I'm loving every moment of this

Exactly, KG is mad and wants to play already, but Boston isn't letting him. LA needs to be smart and do the same thing with Kobe, but fortunately they aren't (and can't, for that matter, as if they'd ever convince the egomaniac to take a seat.)

His finger is fucked up too. Playing with a bad back will only make things worse, notice how he keeps having to go to the locker room during games. Trust me, it won't take much for something to go horribly wrong in the next few weeks and you guys can kiss the title goodbye.

kobe has been having problems with fingers on his shooting hand for 2 seasons now. One of the fingers, the ligaments were torn. In an interview he said if it's not for the cast his knee bends all the down and touches his wrist

Well, let Kobe worry about his injuries. He's not gonna sit through injuries now. He doesn't want to. He knows this is his chance to win titles. This is the best team he's had. And even with that broken finger, he's shooting a career high percentage. Kobe with a broken finger and bad back alone is better than a lot of players in the NBA.

This from ESPN’s Ric Bucher on his podcast today. No further details from Ric about when this inquiry incurred or what, if anything specific, the Lakers offered to give up. No handicapping from him, either, on the odds of a deal, so just throw it on the rumor pile.
For what it’s worth, a trade for Devin Harris would be pretty easy to get done under the salary cap. He makes a relatively modest $8.4 million this year and has three years (after this one) left on this contract.
A combination of Adam Morrison and either Jordan Farmar or Shannon Brown would satisfy salary-matching rules and free up money for New Jersey to make their offseason free-agent push.
morrison and farmar + maybe some cash and pick for harris.. both are expirings and that's what the nets want.

Morrison, farmar, and either powell or mbenga and it's a deal. They clear a lil over 8 mill in salary from this trade, and enough to sign 2 stars in the 2010 offseason. and lakers get harris in return.
Imagine Harris and shannon on the break. wow.
I say make this happen, don't give up anybody else.

LMAO remember when you guys clowned the Cavs for starting out 0-2? Now they've clowned LA twice already this season.
LMAO no Mo Williams.
LMAO 31 pts on 31 shots for Kobe.
LMAO 13 pts on 14 shots for Pau.
Pathetic.
BAHAHAHA, YOU AIN'T SHIT, LA. YOU AIN'T SHIT.

LOLOL Epic fail for Lakers tonight. Gotta love it.
I have to eat crow too. At the beginning of the season, I thought the Cavs were #3 at best because they wouldn't top Boston or Orlando...but now it's a bit obvious that this matchup is a preview of the Finals. Kobe vs. Lebron...I'm personally already loving it
