If you think the Lakers suck then your just a Shaq *, after Shaq left, everybody thought it was over for the Lakers, and it was...momentarily, and now they back in the finals so support the team that is representin you, you obviously dont watch the games and claim the Lakers suck, this is the team that nobody expected to make the finals, and look where they are, and with a key player still missing

Losing a 24 point lead on NBA finals game qualifies a team for the word "suck". Roll the dice as much as you want, no team good enough, determined enough, woudlve lost a 24 point lead the way Lakers did the other day.
Lakers are not champions this year, they dont deserve it, look for a celtics shut out of the Lakers by Sunday, or they might strecth it so they can win it in Boston in front of a home crowd.
For what its worth the Lakers did a good job until now, but from here on they should let the big boys play.

Lakers are young, they have a lot of growing to do, and for them to make it this far and beat teams that have more experience such as Utah and San Antonio is pretty good, even if they don't win the title, its been a good season for them to make it this far with nobody expecting it, and it shouldn't come to surprise if Boston wins, they've been favored to win it all season, yea sure Lakers blew a 24 point lead, but so did Boston in game 2 with 8 mins left, only difference is Boston took the lead and won
Win or Lose im a Laker fan, and I aint gonna hop on the wagon like most people have just because Boston may be the better team

^ I admire your dedication, as for me, It's not that I am not a fan of any team which cannot win. It's just that I'm not a fan of a team that can win, but doesn't know how to. Also, I've managed to remove the emotional aspect from sports, keep it professional buddy and you'll make some money while your at it.

Bones, I agree with you. The Lakers have come a loooong way this season and have prevailed through some tough times. In the beginning of the season who would of guessed that the Lakers would be where they are today? As Laker fans we would only hope, but look at where they are today...competing in the Finals!!!! I already see that as a big accomplishment and if we win the title hey even more to celebrate. So people it ain't ova till the fat lady sings so don't be talkin smack when it doesn't go in our favor and vice versa. GO LAKERS WoOt!!!!

Any team can win, you don't need good players to win, sometimes inexperience comes into play
...and to me, if you don't get emotional after a loss or win for your team, then your not a fan, thats how I am, I grew up watching the Lakers
..and Im also guessing you bet on sports games?

I grew up as a fan as well. After I realized games were being rigged I stoped being the "fan" and began to be the "oppurtunist".
I don't bet on sports games in general, I just have a passion for betting, not gambling I wouldnt spend more then a hundred dollars at a casino table, but yet I bet on some sport games and I'm usually pretty accurate at predicting a winner. But like I said, its strictly recreational, without any stigma of a gambler attached to it.

i dont know about you guys but that got my hopeful again
with this guy..anything can happen
gasol sucks..not the lakers=)..just in the finals tho..whats going on with that guy0.o
w/e todai is a special day=D so theyre winning for sure

Yea I saw it, he said the series ain't over
..and Gasol doesn't suck, he's just soft, and his true position is a PF, right now he's playing Center, if Phil Jackson decides to use DJ Mbenga or Chris Mihm at Center and move Gasol to PF then he would be more free to do whatever he wants
