baseball sucks.
Armenians that are fresh off the boat will play soccer...before they're America born relatives make them convert to basketball. lol

well im surprised more armenians arent into baseball. sit around in a dugout with the tghek, eating sunflower seeds... it sounds like our thing lol.
and i love all the armenians that talk about soccer and know nothing about the sport, like the hockey fans lol

He loves most sports actually, just happens to excell in basketball.
I think the answer to your question is availability. All you need for b-bal is the court, available in every school and park, and the ball.
For almost every other sport you need more, bats, gloves, sticks, skates, and so on.
Yea you can play soccer and footbal with just the ball, but you won't have cleats and padding, wchich dramatically changes your movement. With b-ball as long as you have the ball and hoop, you don't need anything else, you get the full experience.
plus not everyone enjoys being hit to the ground as an actual part of the game lol, so that leaves soccer and bball as the best options.

I preffer Hockey actually, then tackle football/rugby
but if we count all sports then martial arts > all for me at least.
Mental sports, Shogi (japanese chess, you think normal chess is hard . . .)

nah well watching the game itself at the pro level sucks. college hoops is awesome, but in the nba they stop the game every 3 seconds for a pair of free throws, its so slow

watching it IS boring i'll agree, with the exception of some fight leagues, but come on, playing them is fun.
I'm not much of a sports person (other than martial arts) but i'll take any game of bball or hockey or pretty much anything cept baseball lol

I've seen Lakers at Staples............it was OK. I'd rather go to a concert and enter a mosh pit. Now that's a sport.

How are watching sports boring? Watching Lakers at Staples is boring cause the fans suck except when its a big game. You ever root for a team? Get drunk with some fans and really get into it? Ever watch a World Cup game, or a Champions League Final? The Super Bowl? That stuff is boring to you? Oh well. But meanwhile can you please explain the fun you get out of moshing? I never got that... why go to a concert and not pay attention to the music lol
