| I believe in God's Kingdom of Heaven, hell is a place where all the dead souls who commited the sin of unbelief in Jesus and the Holy Spirit working in Him will go to. It is amazing how there are people out there who claim to be atheists yet they don't have the thought process of the monkey who they claim to come from. A monkey knows what to do with the instincts that were given to it by its designer. Its only humans who have been given free will by the designer God(Holy Trinity), who decide that they have not been designed and live their lives opposite of their own God given design. It is not enough to have knowledge, because it can't save you. Only the faith in Jesus and His coming in flesh and dying on the Cross for our Sins and His Resurrection from the dead will Save you. Jesus is the only answer, there is no other way. If God's Kingdom of Heaven is a perfect place and all human beings are imperfect then the only way we can be cleansed is through the perfect without sin Blood of Christ Jesus. Your culture also doesn't mean much since Faith in Christ has to do with the belief that is in your heart and God searches our heart and we need to confess this to Him with out mouth and in prayer. Amen.

Yea man your right. I don't know what people think when they say there is no God. Even in my every day life I can feel the God, not phisicaly but emotionaly. There are a lot of stuff that's happening this days that there is no explanation for it. Even the science can't answer it. A lot of people say the Science is the God, but like you said they have a freedom of oppinon.

| God gave us the Truth in His Son and His Word Jesus. He also put it in our hearts his moral law, it has been written in us. Now we know something is wrong and right, evil or good and we have the choice to make every day. This is not just an emotional feeling but it is truth that he laid out for us in the Bible. We can continue to deny the Truth, because it doesn't fit in our lives but it is goind to be according to the Truth that we are going to be judged on by God the Father. Whether we came to accept it and its cleansing of our sins or we didn't accept it. It is very easy to think of a life with no consequences and to say that we are free but there is the first death which we all must face and the second death that we don't have to necessarily face, Thanks to our Lord and Savior Jesus.

Do I believe in heaven and hell?
Yes, I do.
..
But then the question: what are heaven and hell like?
I don't think there will be much arguing about heaven,
but what views do you guys have of hell?
Do you think it is somthing like the popular medieval image of the burning
oven with all those nasty little demons flying around with
their batwings and pitchforks that are torturing people all the time?
Or do you guys have a different view of hell?

I have a theory about heaven and hell (As we all do).
My theory is, hell is basically going to be over worst nightmare and fears which never end.
I don’t believe that hell is going to be an “Institution” where all the sinners and bad people of the world meet.
My theory of heaven is going to be our best dreams coming true. We will meet past relatives that died; all the questions of life will be answered and will make perfect sense.
I recommend everyone to read “The Five People You Meet in Heaven” by Mitch Albom.
It’s a great short read and you’ll enjoy it. And, those of you who are too lazy to read or can’t read watch the movie.

| Read the Bible. Jesus came from Heaven and went to Hell for our sins. He is the Only Bridge between here and Heaven.

Hmm.....interesting replies.
But about the theories about heaven and particularly hell,
has any of you studied Near Death Experiences?
Most will no doubt have heard about this.
Yet most people just think N.D.E.'s are all about
the light on the end of the tunnel and a heavenly paradise.
But the creepy thing is, that is often not the case...
There are numerous cases of N.D.E.'s in which people were
litterally dragged into a - usually dark - hellish world.
What they describe then differs per person on some details,
but they all report being extremely threatened, and sensing
strong negative emotions such as sorrow, grief, hatred,
anger, spite and so on.
They also report that the surroundings are always very hostile,
usually filled with a kind of darkness. Not complete darkness,
but more of a kind of shadow or twilight.
These persons usually find themselves completely surrounded
by hordes of ugly, revolting and absolutely wretched creatures.
Some of these creatures are said to resemble human beings,
but others are inhuman monstrocities.
But they are all hostile, and they threaten and attack
the unfortunate "newcomer". Some people report that these
creatures shouted at them, or insulted them.
What these persons experience during their stay in what must be hell,
are feelings of extreme desolation, of being completely forsaken,
and they also sense the extreme hostility towards them.
Some people also give a description of what they felt when the
creatures attacked them. Exactly what they felt seems to be
very hard to describe, but it seems to go far beyond normal
perceptions of pain and fear.
It is said that these victims sense an extreme fear that goes
far beyond fear of death. That's mainly because this kind of harm
is a thing worse than death. Death is just a transition, a one-time event.
But this is an ongoing thing, something that does not end.....ever.
One account I've seen described how this person felt these
horrid creatures attack him with their claws, and what he described as:
"As if they reached down my very essence, that they were about
to harm parts of my essence, my very soul, that I didn't even knew existed.
Nonetheless... It is clear that this phenomenon is hard to comprehend
for those people that didn't actually experience it.
Oh, and what that Guest said about demonic posession
was also quite interesting. You see, I'm researching and
studying such phenomena, and those phenomena do
include demonic posession.
I have seen quite some cases of Near Death Experiences
and hauntings of ghosts, poltergeists and even demons.
I also studied a few cases demonic posession, including
their exorcism. (by the way, I see a clear link between
many of these demonic infestations and these hell-N.D.E.'s)
And you're right Guest, many outsiders do ridicule Christians
for having belief in the supernatural, and especially supernatural evil.
Most of them in the West are either "ghosts-don't-exist" atheists,
or those New-Age and Wicca characters, that believe that all
things supernatural are good and that hell and true evil do not exist.
Among other Churches, the Roman Catholic Church still does
perform exorcisms, yet they are very careful about these things,
just because of the ridicule from the outsiders.

Oh yes, one more note about that whole hell thing:
Most people with such hell-experiences do not feel
any sensation of temperature, and if they do,
then it's usually uncomfortable fresh, cold or freezing.
("When Hell freezes over!")
But very few people reported a sensation of hotness or burning,
and I have yet to see a case in which anyone withnessed burning fire...
