Hkd, first, make sure your image is of .JPG, .GIF, or .PNG format. Then, when you upload the image, a link shows up with the image tags attached: [img]*******[/img]. Copy and paste that whole link and it should work. Good luck.

your'e right v for both points of view. at one moment we entered the fog and as we were climbing up, we came out and left it behind us, and if you look well, the ground is very humid, and we had this view. concerning the lake it is situated exactly under the clouds. it is a huge reservoir where vorodani river pours and there is an underground tunnel starting from this lake which takes water to lake sevan to compensate sevan's water wasting
during the communist era. but nothing to say, this sunyac sarer are really something, woww
and to lk82, ok bro, I will post a selection of pictures of Armenia

Cool. I figured there had to be something down there; too beautiful a place not to.

Btw...do you have any photos from Sevan and/or Tsakhkadzor?

hkd1 did you go to Mount Aragats (Alagias) in Armenia? I have a picture that I took there and it's by far one of the most beautiful places in Armenia. Although we were there in the summer, there were sections of snow on the mountains and the way it reflected onto the lake, it was very breathtaking.

Lady s, I get what your'e talking about, no I haven't been there directly, altough I wanted so much to be there near the lake and I think that there is also a scientific mission there.
all I know from aragatz is passing in front of it either to go to amberd, purakan, from one side, and on the way to north, after aparan on the way to spitak, stepanavan up to hagpat from the other side. I will surely post pictures from those places

I'm not sure of what scientific mission you are talking about, but along the same road is Amberd. Next time you go to Armenia definitely go visit. They also have set up tents, and I believe they were in the construction process to building a restaurant when I was there, and they serve fresh kash along with fish from the lake. They are actually known for their kash, but I didn't like it that much but the fish was really good. I have a picture that I took there and if I have time to edit the picture so that I am not in it, then I will definitely post it later.

nice picture Lady S, I think that the reflection of the moonlight in the waters of this lake originated the legend of 'lousavorichy kantegh'. so from what I did understand is to park the car at amberd and climb the mountain by foot. is it correct pls?
