PS. Kiso I know how some people (eg. you) like to raise idiotic points just to get someone riled up...but since this is a serious convo for me, I won't be taking cheap shots at you, because I don't play the assumption games whenever I am in a serious mood.
So, you can either be a typical Armo (who are usually no better than *beep*) or be a person who knows whats rightheous.
Once that brain of yours grows (only if you let it) you might want to come talk to me for some real advice. But for now, it needs room for improvement.
Also if you can't take criticism, even if it is harsh, then you are no human. You are a mere tool...just what the Bush Administration wants you to be.

America ranks lower than other countries because parents have become lazy...and they ONLY depend on the American education system. It is not the greatest. Work ethics count. I was a bad student in high school. I used to blame the system, but it turns out it was my fault (not my parents though, because they always told me to do what's right).
Like I said before, I dislike the current government. Sure it feeds other countries, but business is still blooming.
I would join the Army if I found a good cause for it. But no way in hell in it's current form. And obviously I wouldn't because I have a good life. Usually rejects who are lost join the army, you rarely see accomplished people join the marines, let alone the army.
I defend it's ideals, not what the government says. The government changes, but the people don't. I only care about the people here, not the money grubbing government.
As far as the bums, check my last sentence on my list. This country is not for the bums, but the government loves bums because they can launder money through them.
What I am saying is very deep, I don't think I can express it fully through the internet. |
bro it's already hard for an average person to get a job, let alone a bum find one. Ever been to downtown san francisco? I was there for 3 nights and I got so sick of bums asking me for money, it's far worse than downtown Los angeles.
Freedom of speech, eh. Turkey is a lot worse lol.
As far as land of opportunity goes, it's very hard for an immigrant to come here and be succesful nowadays. Maybe 20 years back it was great, now it's very hard. One bad thing leads to another.

Define "average person". If by average you mean one without an education (high school not included) then I can agree with that. You need a BA if you want to make a good living and enjoy the benefits this country has to offer.
Most of the bums you see on the streets are usually war vets, most of them from Vietnam. These youngsters went straight to Vietnam fresh out of high school.

^ya pretty much, or a small business, and of course you have to have knowledge about business to have your business running. I did really bad with school, so i'm looking into careers that pay good money without having to get a B.A.
I have a lot of sh*t on my mind, i have to think it out clearly.
